Training the new digital dentist
In order to truly learn digital technologies, you need to be guided by professionals with solid scientific foundations, who are deeply aware of every clinical and laboratory step and apply it every single day. That is why, in 2020, Mangano Digital Academy was born: to train the new digital dentist, able to apply the new surgical, prosthetic and orthodontic protocols right away, with an eye on the future.
We do it through a unique experience: the best tools and software on the market, under the careful guidance of our experts. We provide the protocols to be applied in the clinic and in the laboratory, because it is always the protocols and their practical application, not theoretical notions, that make the difference. Our courses, online on Osteocom and in person with #zeromicrons, are for dentists and dental technicians.

lectures in Italy and abroad
Dentist, graduated with honors in 2003, in 2016 he obtained a PhD in Biotechnology, Biosciences and Surgical Techniques at the University of Insubria in Varese, where for 6 years he conceived and coordinated the world’s first Master in Digital Dentistry. He is Associate Professor at Sechenov University, Moscow (Russia), where he teaches Digital Dentistry. Semmelweis University in Budapest (Hungary) awarded him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for excellence in clinical research in dentistry.

He is Editor of Journal of Dentistry (opens in a new tab), Elsevier’s international peer-reviewed journal indexed in PubMed and Scopus, Q1 with impact factor 5.8 and CiteScore 7.8, for the Digital Dentistry section. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Digital Dentistry Journal (opens in a new tab), Elsevier’s international peer-reviewed journal indexed in Scopus.
From 2019 to 2025 he was Editor of DentalTech, the space Infodent Italia devotes to digital dentistry. He founded and was Editor of DDS MAG (opens in a new tab), the magazine of the Digital Dentistry Society (opens in a new tab) (DDS), the most important international scientific society in digital dentistry, of which he is a Founding Member, Active Member and Past President (2024–2025).
He is the author of 175 international scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals indexed in PubMed, with an h-index of 50 (Scopus), and is a renowned speaker, with more than 300 lectures at scientific congresses in Italy and abroad.

world’s first Master in Digital Dentistry
Medical Doctor and Surgeon, graduated in 1978 and specialized in Odontostomatology, he worked for several years as a Researcher at IRTEC-CNR in Faenza. He has collaborated with several Italian universities, including La Sapienza in Rome, the University of Chieti-Pescara and the University of Insubria in Varese, where in 2013 he conceived and directed the world’s first Master in Digital Dentistry.
